Anita Briem hails from Iceland. She is famous for her character in the role of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become Queen Elizabeth III's third spouse Henry VIII in the series of the television show The Tudors and for her role as Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem began her acting journey at age 9 in the National Theater in Iceland. As a youngster, she was involved in numerous radio and television shows, plays and productions throughout Iceland. In the year 16 Briem moved to London to take part in an production of the theatre of the play Lenin In Love in the New End Theater. Briem studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for 3 years and earned the diploma of Drama.
